Jon Stewart ROASTS CNN's Republican Debate: 'America's Most Patriotic Game Show'
.This wasn't just any debate, however. Moderator John King promised it would be different. Stewart wondered if that was because each candidate was poisoned and the antidote was wrapped in the Constitution, hidden under a gay couple in the audience. His theory wasn't correct.
As King explained, the debate was different because questions would come from experts as well as voters in town halls across New Hampshire.
"How the fuck is that different? You mean like the debate you did where everyone asked questions on YouTube? I mean, c'mon," Stewart asked.
And then the questions: Elvis or Johnny Cash? "Dancing With The Stars" or "American Idol"? Coke or Pepsi? Blackberry or iPhone? Leno or Conan? Deep dish or thin crust?

Stewart: "Are there any other hashtag innovative www dot slash debate at fucking annoying tv dot tv backslash beiber you have up your sleeve before you move on?"
Why yes, actually. At one point, King told the viewing audience that extra information could be found by snapping a picture of the black and white icon on the screen.
"So you're suggesting that while I watch this debate I get out my phone and take a picture of the screen, launching a mobile device internet browser to bring me to another screen with content deemed not good enough to put on your 24, seven day a week, why don't you text us to vote on what story you want to see lazy susan of stupid shit?" Stewart said.
But there was a silver lining: "We've become, we are told, a trending topic on Twitter," King said.
As Stewart noted, it was right between #bigmistake and #watchingteenwolf.

The Thornton Planning Board met and held a public hearing on Thursday
April 21, 2011, 6:00 PM at the Thornton Town Hall.
Board Members present: Bart Dutto, Chairman, Sandy MacIntosh, Carolyn Piantedosi, Russ Gilman, Dennis Day, Gloria Kimball, Fred Gunter and Marianne Peabody, Secretary.

At 6:00 PM Chairman Dutto opened this hearing with the Salute to the Flag.
Chairman Dutto informed Permanent and Alternate Members they are all voting members this hearing date.
Regular Business
The minutes of the March 17, 2011 were reviewed and accepted as presented.
A motion was made by Board Member Kimball seconded and voted 6-0.
Benton Excavation Permit Renewal – Cross Road
Shirley Benton property owner present. Abutters Ronald and Richard Daley present. Shirley Benton presented a penciled plan outlining the shape of the pond and showing the direction their excavation project is headed. The State of NH DOT reconstruct permit was submitted requiring an apron from the edge of the highway pavement 25ft onto the site. The Department of Transportation is requiring that the construction creates no increase in water runoff flowing into the Department’s Right of Way.
Chairman Dutto asked abutters Ronald & Richard Daley if they had any concerns.
They expressed their concern with the site of stock piles that have been there for quite some time and explained when the wind blows it becomes dusty. Chairman Dutto asked how high the berms were. Mr. Benton informed the Board the berms are 17ft.’Berms are kept seeded and wet as much as possible. A row of trees will remain. Hours of operation remain the same.
A motion was made and seconded to renew the Benton Enterprises excavation permit for two years with the same conditions contingent on completion of NHDOT requirements. VOTED 6-0.
Mellissa Rivers –Early Start Daycare – Mad River Road – Informational
Owner and proprietor Mellissa Rivers was before the Board to discuss a
clerical error made on reports to the State relative to the total number of children she is allowed to care for at her daycare facility. Town records show that this daycare facility has been approved for (17) children prior to the zoning amendment in 2001. Chairman Dutto confirmed this with a statement he wrote on a new zoning verification sheet to be submitted to the State of NH Child Care Licensing Unit on April 21, 2011.
